The Invisible Hand
I just finished reading The Invisible Hand...do all things really work for good? A book by R. C. Sproul. As he concludes, "The Providence of God is our fortress, our shield, and our very great reward. It is what provides courage and perseverance for His saints."
What a comfort to know that God's invisible hand is in control! He is not surprised by what He sees, He is not in a panic, and He makes good come out of even the worst that we can imagine. In His time. And for His glory.
I highly recommend this book to all, and especially to the members of our home church...Providence Presbyterian. Read this book and get a better understanding of why our church is named PROVIDENCE!
